libequinox-osgi-java software package provides Equinox OSGi framework, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libequinox-osgi-java
libequinox-osgi-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libequinox-osgi-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libequinox-osgi-java *
You will get with libequinox-osgi-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
